Mexico Cruise

We just returned from a family vacation on a Mexican Cruise. It was a BLAST. I was honestly nervous because I have never taken the kids before and didn't know how they would like it. Well, they loved every part of it. We started by getting in on a Sunday afternoon in Manhattan Beach. We got a hotel and headed for the beach and pier. We ate at a restaurant on the pier called Mama D's. Jeff and I had been there once before and HAD to take our kids there. It was out of this world. We walked the pier, played in the sand, and even hit an aquarium......Then the next morning we packed up and headed for our cruise out of Long Beach. We early boarded which was a MUST because we got on the ship earlier than most people and we felt like we had the ship to ourselves for a couple of hours. The kids immediately hit the soft serve ice cream which became a staple in our day! We ended up on the same cruise as our dear friends the Chandlers who also brought their kids and they all hit it off. Logan also found out that 5 of his friends (girls) also booked the same cruise, so we had LOADS of people to hang out with :) It was absolutely perfect. We went to Catalina Island which was my favorite. We rented bikes and peddled all over the city. We went to a botanical garden, and did lots of shopping. The next day we ported in Ensenada which wasn't my favorite, but the shopping was amazing!!! We all learned to barder down for what we wanted! It was great. The last day was a day at sea which was very relaxing. I reserved chairs and was out in the morning on the deck at 8:30 am and went in at 4:00. It was wonderful getting the sun and watching my kids having a blast. I will remember this trip forever and hope my kids will too!Sorry so many pictures! I couldn't choose just a few!
